Quote of the Day

"Life is like the act of taking photos. Simply focus on your object(ive) and don't let anything else blur out your visions. Your photo is your visualization of life."

When Life Hits You

Life is amazing, because it hits you and hugs you within seconds. And in a minute, you learn something big, something new, something eye-opening. That life, moves quickly, and forward. And the only thing to do, is to enjoy the moments while we can, and to believe, that everything, once again, happens for a reason.

I have been very lucky, and happy, and grateful, to find out around 8 weeks ago, that I am pregnant. Yes! I'm pregnant! The BEST news S and I have received so far as a married couple. My family and friends were also very happy for us, and we planned so many things to make sure that all goes well. Don't do this, don't do that, must eat this, must not eat that, you know the drill. This has also been the reason why I haven't been blogging that often lately. Because I have morning sickness which in reality feels more like a day-and-night sickness hehehe...

But, the universe decided otherwise. Just 4 days ago, S and I discovered that we lost our baby. When I went for the checkup, the doctor could no longer hear his/her heartbeat. I knew it somehow. Like how I knew before any pregnancy test taken that I was pregnant, just the day before that last checkup, I knew my baby was in trouble. If someone asks me what actually happened, or what did the doctor say in detail, I'm not sure myself because I kinda lost a bit of my hearing when the doctor was explaining to me the sad news. All I know is that my baby died, and I responded the doctor with just one word. "Okay", I said.

All it took was a walk around the hospital, and some time inside the hospital's toilet to cry and just accept the fact. And I called S, cried again, and that was the last time I dropped a tear. I am okay now. We are okay...:)

It's sad to know that something had lived and died inside me. But I always believe that Allah is kind, and this, for whatever reason, was for the best.

So yes. Life is amazing, because it hits you and hugs you within seconds. And in a minute, you learn something big, something new, something eye-opening. That life, moves quickly, and forward. Stay positive, people...God is always kind...:)

Hairstyles Tip - How to hide dark roots in bleached hair

If you have died blonde hair and are between visits to the hairdresser, you will know why this tip is a life saver. Those dark roots can start to show thorugh and spoil your look, but do not worry, there is a really quick, cheap and super simple way to hide those dark roots. Just get some talcum powder and dab it into any areas that show. It does not completely cover it, but blends it with the rest of the hair making it much less noticable. It is not often that there is such a cheap and easy way to get something done with regards hairstyles, but here it is.

"First of all, pls do notice that this is not a hate message and I'm not a hater. However I find it kind of ridiculous that you love compliments so much (about how your fans tweeted to you, saying "kak Diana is so pretty" etc etc) and you're going on like spreading those compliments so the world will know about your admired beauty. (so far, it's all that i see) I know it's really good of you for being confident but I just want you to also think about people who criticized you. There must be some strong reasons. My honest opinion is, yes you're pretty but sometimes you make so weird faces that I loathe it and wanna puke. No offense. Your statement towards the person who said "Love the clothes, not the face" is so ...what's it, childish. I really dont like your statement about your unsureness that the person also has a pretty face. It sounds like you really cant accept the fact that some people just dont like your appearance."

-------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Cesca,

Thank you very much for your comment / feedback. Please be assured that I am nowhere near crazy about compliments, and I can assure you that my real life friends would approve that. I understand that many people might not like me or even hate me (including you), and I am totally fine with that. I think, if you have gone through my blogposts, I have for quite a few times wrote about how in life, not everyone will like, love or accept us for who we are, and I fully am aware that there are people out there who perceive me in that manner. So yes, thank you for not liking me and thinking that I make weird faces. To be fair and honest, I am weird (and I like to make weird faces too). I have accepted that since I was a kid...:)

If you were referring to my feedback towards the "Love the clothes, not the face" comment sometime back then, and if you really comprehended my blogpost well, it was not about me defending myself nor denying the fact that my face is not pleasant for everyone. I was just pointing out, that my face, your face, and everyone's face, is gifted by God. Our face along with our other physical features are how we were simply born with. So yes, I do find it extremely rude if someone makes a joke of someone's face - anyone's face, not just mine. If you disagree with this and think that it's okay to make bad comments about people's faces, then how come you yourself seemed extremely offended by stating that "I really dont like your statement about your unsureness that the person also has a pretty face". I didn't even use the word "loathe" and "puke" just like you did and you're already agitated? :)

So Cesca, let me be very clear, that I AM OKAY and I FULLY ACCEPT the fact that some people don't like my face or appearance. I have been totally cool about this since years ago. But I will never tolerate any form of verbal harassment done to me or anyone out there..so please try to understand the context first before judging...:)

Diana

Hugs

My sincere condolences to the victims' families of the Sukhoi accident.

Dear friends,

Never waste a day without enjoying your day and being grateful about every simple thing that brings smile to your face. And always share love and happiness with the people around you. To "stay foolish and hungry" doesn't mean to live foolishly. Live responsibly for you never know when your day will come.

Diana

The Great Are The Grateful

The only way we can enjoy life and feel truly happy is when we are genuinely grateful for whatever we have. When you're happy, you're more productive. And when you're productive, life just becomes better...:)
